Mortgage rates have been over 5% for over a year now, and it looks like there’s definitely a downward trend showing up in the Metro Boston sales prices. May was the FIFTH MONTH IN A ROW with sales prices lower than they were during the same month in 2022, despite fierce competition continuing in many subsections of the market. Sale prices continue to fluctuate in individual towns & cities, but the relatively small number of homes sold in each doesn’t provide as clear a picture as the overall Metro Boston data does:
